TORONTO – Bill Roberts, President and CEO of S-VOX, is pleased to announce two new appointments to the multimedia company’s management team.

Ms. Leu comes to S-VOX from Alliance Atlantis, where she had served as Manager, Public and Regulatory Affairs since 2005.

A graduate of McGill University and the Schulich School of Business, where she earned a Master of Business Administration degree, Ms. Leu worked previously for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as Manager of Planning. She has also worked for the Canadian Television Fund as Business Analyst, and for the Toronto International Film Festival Group as Public Affairs and Development Coordinator.

Catherine MacLean joins S-VOX as Director, Legal Services/Board Secretary, beginning March 17. She will be responsible for providing the organization with expertise on corporate, legal and governance issues.

For the past five years, Ms. MacLean served as Legal Counsel for Indian and Northern Affairs Canada and the federal Department of Justice.

Her other previous positions include Senior Manager, Policy and Legislation for the Ontario Ministry of Finance. She has also worked for the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General in a number of capacities, and has served as Legal Counsel for the Catholic Children’s Aid Society.

Ms. MacLean pursued undergraduate studies at Ryerson University, and earned her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Ottawa. She was called to the Bar as a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1987. Ms. MacLean is also a member of the clergy for the All Season’s Church of Canada.

Said Mr. Roberts: “S-VOX faces interesting opportunities and challenges, as we prepare to assume responsibility for two new over-the-air stations in Winnipeg and Vancouver, and engage in the regulatory review processes that will determine the framework governing our sector for the next several years. Ms. Leu and Ms. MacLean bring talents uniquely suited to the task of ensuring that S-VOX remains Canada’s leading provider of multimedia content on spirituality, faith and personal development.”
